My name is Rebecca Caldwell and I am the woman behind Little Fragment Studio. I would like to thank you for your time and interest in my shop, my art and me.
Some little tid-bits about me-
Oh how I wish that I could say that I have had formal training and a fancy art degree is hanging on my wall, but alas I am just one of those dedicated self-taught artist who can proudly boast about a true love of both art and design. As a child I would spend hours and hours in my room creating, writing, drawing, painting and decorating. Alot of my Saturdays were filled with trips to yardsales, flea markets and dime stores with my mom. I would rummage to find cool and unique things. What fun! Honestly though, not much has really changed since my childhood days, well maybe that I'm a bit older now, married with child and that my room has been replaced with a studio that I spend hours and hours sitting in fiddling with paper, paint, glitter, ink, canvas, cardstock, varnish, beads and every other art medium under the sun. Little did I know that with all those trips to rummage sales and the time spent creating as a child would pass me into a life long adventure and love of art, hence my little expression- “Life Love Art”.
Currently I reside in North Carolina with my very supportive husband Jason, our lovely and creative son Dominic and our boston terrier Joe Beans. After working my day job at a dental office, coming into my studio is like a breath of fresh air and a release from the stress of everyday. I adore curling up on the couch under a comfy blanket and reading almost every craft, bead and art magazine available. I am always researching new and wonderful techniques and have taken many classes on my favorites by talented and respected artisans all of which have aided me in the pursuit of perfecting my art. When it comes to my own handmade goodies you will quickly learn that I truly love whimsical, playful, fun and unique designs. In my creations I strive to offer to the world something truly special and it is a goal of mine that all of Little Fragment Studio's handmade designs are never massed produced. Each piece found here is always unique and one-of-a-kind.
Some little tid-bits about the shop-
Little Fragment Studio proudly offers folks a unique mixture of items that are either finely handcrafted by me or hand-selected by me. I strive to keep the shop filled up with extra special goodies and truly enjoy the time spent either creating them or hunting them down.
